The key to your hotel room isn’t an actual key but an app downloaded on your phone, which you hold to a scanner to unlock the door. Inside, you spray everything with the Lysol you brought with you. Doorknobs. Bathroom fixtures. The TV remote. You crack open the window to let in fresh air and replace the comforters and pillows on the beds with your own bedding. Outside the room you wear a mask and use the back exit to avoid the lobby and other guests. To use the indoor pool you have to reserve a time.
